1971- Rev. Glenn and Norma Jean Marks felt lead of the Lord to begin Home Bible Studies in the newly developed Eastgate neighborhood. These Bible Studies were held in different homes on Sunday evenings, but as the group grew, there was a desire to have Sunday morning services.
1976- One of the families built a new garage in the Eastgate neighborhood and service was moved to this location. The Sunday service was later moved to Lowell High School while the group continued to meet Sunday evenings for Bible Study in the Marks' home.
1980- On November 2nd, in the Marks' living room, Lowell Missionary Church was organized with 12 charter members
1981- The Lord miraculously provided 8 acres of land next to Eastgate. The first building was built in one day by many volunteers at an Old Fashioned Building Bee.
1982- On July 18th a dedication and celebration service was held.
Rev. Glenn Marks retired in June of 2003 after many faithful years in full time Ministry.
